Solar Charge Controllers
A solar charge controller is the heart of any stand-alone solar system. It regulates the charging of batteries from solar panels to ensure a safe and efficient charging process. Key features include overcharging protection, load control, low voltage disconnect, backflow protection and charging status indicators. Most also come with other useful features for better performance or better system monitoring etc. System voltage ( or nominal voltage) is usually 12V, 24V or 48V depending on battery configuration too.
